What I ate this week [August 4- August 9]

Hi Everyone

Here’s another week of clean eating in the books! This week was a little different because of Tisha B’Av. While I did eat on Sunday, it didn’t feel right to share those meals, so ill be starting this week’s recap from Monday. I hope this gives you some inspiration for simple, nourishing, and mostly Whole30-style meals!

Monday August 4

  • Breakfast- Pashtida
  • Lunch- Tuna steak and Fruit shake
  • Dinner- 3 eggs with cut carrot and cucumber

Tuesday August 5

  • Breakfast- 3 Eggs with 1 rice cake
  • Lunch- Broccoli, chicken, and 1 egg
  • Dinner- cauliflower and chicken and a tiny bit of rice

Wednesday August 6

  • Breakfast- Eggs with cabbage
  • Lunch- Salad with meatballs and almonds and ice cream*
  • Dinner- meatballs and broccoli

Thursday August 7

  • Breakfast- Eggs with tomato
  • Lunch- (Ate out) Pargiot skewer, entrecote skewer, salads, sauteed veggies and potatoes
  • Dinner-  2 handfuls of almonds with grapes (I was still full from lunch)

Friday August 8

  • Breakfast- Banana with almond butter
  • Lunch- Sauteed veggies and meatballs
  • Shabbat Dinner-  A bite of challah, Cabbage Salad, Israeli Salad, Salmon, Broccoli and Cauliflower, Sauteed Zucchini, Chicken and Beef

Shabbat August 9

  • Breakfast- Banana Cream Chia Pudding
  • Lunch-  Homemade Spelt Sourdough Bread, Fish, Chulent
  • Dinner- Homemade Spelt Sourdough Bread, Veggies and Salmon

*The ice cream was Booja-Booja Chocolate Salted Caramel Ice Cream, and the only non Whole30 compliant ingredient was organic cane sugar. It was sooo delicious. And a nice treat
