What I ate this week [Sept. 7- Sept. 13]
This week’s meals were a mix of wins and real-life moments. I’ve been paying close attention to my fasting blood sugar, and I’m so encouraged that it’s been looking good every other morning — definitely a sign that some of the changes I’ve made are working. That said, I had a rough day midweek, and you’ll probably notice it in my food choices. Even though I stayed within my “healthy” framework, it was definitely more about comfort than intention that day.
This week I also meal prepped breakfast so all my breakfasts are the same this week. They are all high protein/lower carb chia oatmeal. Once I perfect the recipe I’ll post it.

All in all, I’m proud of how I handled the week. Life happens, hard days happen, and it’s okay if our food reflects that sometimes. The fact that I still reached for nourishing options, even when I wasn’t feeling my best, shows how far I’ve come. Looking forward to seeing how next week goes — and hoping for a few more of those good blood sugar mornings!
